If you are training in any capacity, you will hit plateaus It is a byproduct of trying to get your body to continue to progress and many times you simply need to make a simple change I have a full article on how I break through them Full article below 👇🏼

Short answer no, you don’t want to goto failure Complete answer on how much weight to use 👇🏼 rxstrengthandfitness.com/pos…

I have a question. Are you taking all 10 sets to fail? I get the idea of going heavy for more muscle fiber recruitment instead of doing empty reps, but what % of 1rep max should we be aiming for when doing 10 sets of 3?

Your goal is to grow as much muscle as humanly possible But you can only pick 1 for all exercises 🅰️ Sets of 3 or less 🅱️ Sets of 8 or more Which are you picking??

Count the pounds
"many couldn’t even lift as much as Sumrall, who is now 44 years old." "With a focus on four cornerstone exercises, it improved its previous “max” lifts by a combined 14,443 pounds—enough muscle to pick up an African elephant." @joshstrength @StrengthDebates wsj.com/sports/football/flor…

I’ll bet my house that in the very near future “science” and the majority of the fitness community will start to tell you lower reps and heavier weight are superior for hypertrophy Bookmark this

In season athlete, I hear this all the time and it’s one of the big reasons so many athletes train with me in season High schools are not training strength, and in season they are afraid of it Strength is King

This training style truly isn’t for everyone. It’s for the few that are obsessed with getting as big as humanly possible especially for those who have made the decision to stay natty. I have other traditional bodybuilding programs, just comment “High” I’ll send a free week for a more foundational approach if you’d like The people who say it takes too long have never tried this style of training The people who say it takes too long are wrongfully assuming you’re lifting weight that is so heavy you need 3-5 minutes between sets to recover. There are many ways to recruit high threshold motor units, and for hypertrophy doing 7-9 reps to build up fatigue so that the last 2-3 reps your body is forced to recruit these motor units might be the absolute worst way to recruit them The easiest way is to add more weight, then add the effort into the concentric phase of the reps. This way you don’t need reps near failure, and by not needing to train so close to failure, you’re able to repeat sets quicker. Some sets as soon as 30 seconds, some later or last top sets up to 2-3 minutes Regardless, when you use this method you are trading junk volume for meaningful reps. You’re also managing your time in the gym around this concept to cut out all the other exercises you normally have to do This is why people finish these sessions in 75 min or so.

Comment “Jump” or “Ease” for 50% off of programming. There are both app and PDF options Training yields different types of stimulus. Different types come with different costs I often say that Low Rep Hypertrophy Sets yield less fatigue. So in this video I break down why In the case of muscle damage vs neural fatigue, you are able to recover faster from neural fatigue than you are from muscle damage Let me know what you think in the comments

Unpopular opinion, you don’t need to be in crazy shape to play baseball There’s no need to be able to run long distances & condition the way baseball is traditionally trained There shouldn’t be any polls being run, not a single timed mile Run some sprints and lift the weights
