MARK CARNEY: CANADA'S HERO IN THIS MOMENT 🇨🇦❤️ What many people don't know is that our current Liberal Prime Minister, Mark Carney, was appointed not once but twice by our former Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Harper and the late Jim Flaherty, his Finance Minister, both spoke incredibly highly of Carney. Flaherty called him a “visionary leader, an economic partner and a friend.” Harper called him a “valued partner” and said his appointment was a testimony to his skills. Think about that for a minute. Could you even imagine Trump standing shoulder to shoulder with Biden and Obama like that, putting Canada or America in their case above the political hatred and division? This is what makes me proud to be Canadian. We can disagree. We can vote differently. We can argue like hell about politics. But there is still something bigger than all of that. It's about a Canadian leader standing on the world stage and reminding everyone that Canada is its own country, with its own identity, its own values and its own future. So when I look at that picture of 3 of our Prime Minister's both Conservative and Liberal.. Harper, Chrétien and Carney standing together, I don't see three politicians. I see Canada. And I see a country that refuses to be swallowed up by American politics. Mark Carney is our Prime Minister. He's our Canadian.
