I’m hoping someone from the Creator team can take a moment to look at my Original Content Rewards application. It’s been almost 10 days since I applied, and I’m still waiting for any kind of response. I’ve been creating on X for a long time, and when the new Original Content guidelines were introduced, I took them seriously. I reshaped the way I create content around what X is now asking creators to do. None of the clips I post are simply downloaded from other accounts and reposted. I source the material myself, select the scenes I want to use and edit the clips myself. I then add my own original context and commentary so the post has something beyond the source material. I also create and edit my own collages, graphics and photos. There’s real time and effort behind putting this content together. I’ve also made a conscious effort not to rely on ragebait or deliberately inflammatory posts just to manufacture replies and engagement. I want people to engage because they actually enjoy the content, commentary or conversation around it... not because I’ve tried to provoke them into reacting. That’s why the wait has been frustrating. Some of the clips, edits and collages I’ve made have actually been taken from my account and reposted by other accounts. It’s strange seeing work I spent time creating circulate elsewhere while I’m still waiting to hear back about my own application. I completely understand that applications need to be reviewed properly and that this can take time. I’m not asking for special treatment or for my application to skip the process. I’ve waited patiently for almost 10 days without any response, and I’m simply hoping for some clarity and for my account to be fairly reviewed based on the content I’m creating now.
