We have heavy hearts here at Sub 70. Over the last 4–5 years, we were fortunate to call RP a friend...spending time with him in Florida and Illinois, talking golf and bowling for hours over the phone, and staying in touch through countless text messages.
He was a legend on the lanes, in the booth, on the course, and in life in general.
RIP Randy. We’ll miss you.
The PBA is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Randy Pedersen, who was among the most important professional bowling figures of the past 40 years.
Pedersen won 13 PBA Tour titles during his Hall of Fame playing career, then transitioned to television where he became the longest-tenured broadcaster in PBA history.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and loved ones.
