This former U.S. Army “psychic spy” alleged that the CIA has a secret backdoor into 23andMe and Ancestry databases, not to solve crimes, but to search millions of DNA profiles for people carrying a genetic marker that allegedly isn’t entirely human.
During the Cold War, the U.S. government really did run classified programs exploring “remote viewing,” the idea that trained people might be able to mentally perceive distant locations, objects, or events.
One of the people involved in that world was retired U.S. Army remote viewer Lyn Buchanan.
Author Jason Reza Jorjani says Buchanan told him about a group of beings known in UFO lore as “Nordics,” extremely tall, fair-skinned, blond, blue-eyed humanoids who could supposedly pass for Scandinavian humans.
According to Jorjani’s retelling, three of them approached Buchanan in a diner.
But Buchanan himself has also told another strange story involving DNA.
He says that while he was in El Paso, two human-looking men approached him and asked whether he could find out who inside the U.S. government was interested in what they described as the “other” portion of a DNA chart.
According to Buchanan, the men claimed their ancestors had originally been humans taken from Earth centuries ago and transported to another world. After hundreds of generations living in a different environment, their DNA had supposedly changed.
They told Buchanan that some of those descendants had eventually returned to Earth and were now living among ordinary people.
Buchanan said the two men appeared completely human.
This is where the story becomes even more controversial.
Jorjani claims Buchanan told him that intelligence officials were interested in identifying unusual DNA through consumer genetic databases such as 23andMe and Ancestry.
In Jorjani’s version of the story, these human-looking beings could potentially blend into the population without attracting attention, while their descendants might not even know anything unusual about their ancestry.
If you found out tomorrow that your own DNA contained something scientists could not explain, would you want to know where it came from?
