Media reports say that one doctor randall seqeira working for years among tribals of kalahandi has been arrested. This means a denial of care since it is an underserved area. Hope health secy odissa will take up the matter with the police authorities. Doctors are not replaceable.

Tribals are the most underserved with the worst health indicators. For governments getting doctors to work among them is challenging. Now our police in the name of law and order arrest the few dedicated doctors. working within the community. How can medical relief be provided?
