Energy bills, water bills, NHS dental costs, council tax… The amount of bills increasing seems like an April Fool's joke: but it’s not. 🤡 The Government must start doing more to help. Sign the petition now! 38d.gs/2n6p

Triple murderer Kyle Clifford had been watching Andrew Tate the night before his attack. Tate promotes extreme violence against women and must be urgently brought to the UK to face justice rather than hiding abroad. Agree? Add your name now! 38d.gs/gwya

A family is campaigning for a change in the law following the death of their daughter. They want legislation introduced where if a patient's condition is unresolved after three consultations, their case is reviewed. @helen_drew | #politicslondon | bbc.in/3OhhTsx

Word of the day is ‘cancelphoria’: the joy of discovering that an arrangement you were dreading has been called off, leaving you with the satisfaction of not having cancelled first, and the bliss of staying at home. Created by @RobbieRinder for @BBCRadio4’s ‘Unspeakable’,

This piece makes me want to cry. So honest and so brutal. A devastating assessment of how we have ended up where we are today.
Last year, 1436 criminal court hearings were delayed because there was no barrister to represent one side or the other. Back in 2019, that number was just 71. For @CounselMagazine I ask: Where have all the criminal barristers gone?

Ed Davey is spot on here. Now, more than ever, we need to break ties with America and focus on rebuilding our relationship with Europe. You can’t have a “special relationship” with a treacherous fascist.

Boris Johnson has crawled out of the woodwork to join Nigel Farage in saying the UK needs a referendum on ECHR membership If UK media is going to give him a platform to spout this boll**** it’s up to all of us to call it out. RT this if you agree

Why should customers bail out water companies for their mistakes? THEY built up £60 billion in debt rewarding banks and investors, and now want us to fix their problem. Sign the petition and tell Ofwat: no bill hikes to bail them out. 38d.gs/zoe_

Saw a little baby in GP clinic with what appeared to be a harmless & self limiting condition All obs were normal But there was something v slightly odd in the history after a specific question that revealed this red flag. I then spoke to the paeds consultant & the baby was referred to rapid access clinic I will say it once, twice, multiple times. There is NO such thing as a “simple case” until AFTER diagnosis. PAs have NO place seeing undifferentiated patients, it’s particularly dangerous with babies & children. We urgently need RCGP to state this in black & white.
