I wanted a personal "box in the cloud" to have (1) an interactive agent on top of my Obsidian notes, and (2) explore coding agents and personal agents.
Why "box in the cloud"? So that I can (1) access from personal laptop and mobile phone, (2) have fire-and-forget tasks, (3) long-running agents, (4) periodic tasks, (5) experiment without constraints of laptop such as accidentally closing the lid.

In a separate session, I asked Shelley to suggest resolution of all the open issues & PRs, and with that I cleared a backlog of 16 PRs and 4 issues in my book repo github.com/swaroopch/byte-of….
Of the original PRs, 8 merged directly, 6 were replaced with corrected versions, and 2 were closed without merging. We created and merged 8 replacement/follow-up PRs along the way, preserving useful content and crediting contributors rather than blindly merging their fixes.
The oldest PR had been open since July 2022. As of this writing, the backlog is now empty: 0 open PRs, 0 open issues!

With this setup, I intend to continue experimentation with agent harnesses and personal agents.
For example, I haven't set up a loop yet, but should be easy to do. I'll just ask Shelley.
