Todays Swear of the Day is the Estoc Yes it looks more like a Sword than a Spear but it is used in a lot of the same ways a Spear would be used but also I just don't feel very Spear-like today given recent events that's all... I'm allowed to break my own rules I suppose

I may break this Criteria from time to time. Swears are very rare. which is also why I'm a "Of The Whenever" not a "Of The Day" You other weapons are lucky to have so many variations of you... :( But it's okay !!

My Criteria for if something is a Swear: - Is the Grip Larger than a Swords grip proportionate to the Blade? - Is the Blade Larger than a Spears Blade Proportionate to the grip

it's an Infantry Weapon. on it's Wiki it's not labeled as a Sword or a Spear but as it's own unique thing. How Awesome !! It's Broadsword Blade and Long Handle make for some unique martial abilities
