Ukraine lost in 1991. Nothing can justify the loss of millions of lives, the loss of an advanced economy, and the national catastrophe that unfolded — slowly at first, then as an avalanche.
I’d say Ukraine lost the war in the spring of 2022. Istanbul framework was already far worse than Minsk and what came later is worse yet. But it’s taking years to admit this rock-solid reality instead of looking for yet another magic wand or Wunderwaffe that will end Putin and undo Russia, because Atlantic Council and CEPA geniuses promised so to pay back Lockheed Martin donations.
