I think the recession hits in a few months after they're done building, but no one cares. Hope fades. No one downloads their AI slop game or app - everyone too busy scrolling. Building isn't the problem, distribution is.

Many engineers just over-provision, as we're not experts at usage optimization. We don't know exact system needs, migration is risky. I moved 500GB+ of user data. AI did it in a weekend.

Unpopular opinion: Don't use Linux for personal use.
The reality is it's insecure - bugs in browsers, apps, & drivers go unfixed for months. Prod Linux servers are extremely minimal, your computer is not.
Apple ships critical fixes overnight, it's a brand emergency otherwise.
