The former Rainier Junior/Senior High School principal was already on paid leave over his comments about Kirk when police arrested him. Investigators said they found at least 31 images of child sexual abuse material on his devices—including material involving an infant. He pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and was sentenced to 5 years and 1 month behind bars, followed by sex-offender registration requirements.
