Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - Accelerating the development of next generation #myeloma treatments to extend patients' lives, and lead to a cure.
Researchers at #IMS2026 presented data that evaluated how newer therapies and treatment approaches could be used earlier in the treatment journey to help patients achieve deeper, longer-lasting responses: bit.ly/46LP9S8
MMRF researchers presented a poster at #IMS2026 highlighting MMRF Virtual Lab, a cloud-based research platform designed to accelerate scientific discovery. Too often, valuable clinical and genomic data are siloed across institutions.
Virtual Lab empowers researchers around the world to explore disease progression, treatment response, and new therapeutic opportunities.

How can we get more patients, no matter where they are in their myeloma journey, to experience deep, lasting treatment responses? Takeaways from #IMS2026themmrf.org/mmrf-blogs/ims-2…
The MMRF's CoMMpass study remains the centerpiece of myeloma research breakthroughs. Today researchers from Emory University and the MMRF reported DNA methylation results during the plenary session of #IMS2026
The team focused on patients with t4;14 myeloma. Their findings demonstrate that some myeloma cells survive by using a large number of chemical "off switches" on DNA. Drugs that remove those switches may expose a hidden weakness and make patients more responsive to treatment.
Some forms of myeloma and related plasma cell disorders can be more difficult to treat or are more likely to progress quickly. Three studies at the #IMS2026 Annual Meeting explored new monitoring and treatment approaches for people with high-risk disease.
