Another ICE killing, and another claim of an immigrant "weaponizing" their vehicle.
As always, don't forget that ICE has made this claim repeatedly in the past in situations where the claim has turned out to be either a complete lie or wildly distorted.
An ICE spokesperson says officers shot and killed a Mexican national after he allegedly attempted to evade arrest and “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over” an officer in Houston this morning.
ICE says at around 6:50 AM CT, they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. The spokesperson claimed Araujo is undocumented and didn’t follow verbal commands.
ICE accuses him of trying to run over an officer causing the officer to fire his weapon “in self-defense.”
Araujo was transported to a hospital where he passed away.
This is the second ICE-involved shooting in less than a week. On July 1, an ICE officer discharged his weapon after they said a suspect allegedly “weaponized his car” and fled in Harrisburg, PA.
It also comes as ICE has ramped up arrests, recently making 10,000 arrests in five days.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!
ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth.
