DOROTHY (4/5) Finished watching #Dorothy, and I'm honestly still processing it. ​Karthik Subbaraj delivers his most courageous work yet - it's unconventional, deeply emotional, and socially necessary. ​Sananth gives a career-defining performance, backed by an impactful Keerthy Suresh, all completely woven together by Ilaiyaraaja's hauntingly beautiful score. ​No other director would dare to make a movie like this. The metaphors, allegories, and visuals are masterfully done. It goes way beyond Iraivi to slap male chauvinism in the face, exposing societal intolerance toward a transgender person. ​Dorothy will trigger endless conversations. You may love it or hate it, but you cannot ignore it.
