House private prosecutor Amando Ligutan doesnβt want to see another People Power Revolution breaking out if ever Vice President Sara Duterte gets acquitted in her impeachment trial.
Speaking before the Rotary Club of Manila, Ligutan says he wants to see government officials being held accountable within the mechanisms provided by the Constitution.
Convicting Duterte is a tall order, with 16 senator-judges needing to pronounce her guilty to remove her from office.
But even that threshold is being debated, with Ligutan saying it is a legal issue that should be settled by the Supreme Court. | via @edjreports
