"Every day, as we walked into the courtroom, people screamed at us, threatened us, because of Donald Trump. He spent $85,000 on a full-page ad in the New York Times calling for our execution." — Korey Wise of the "Central Park Exonerated Five"

The confession does not appear to be coerced. youtube.com/watch?v=aVS8GjR2…

NO you were convicted because of a dysfunctional DAs office and some NYPD Detectives that did SLOPPY police work.

That's horrific, Korey. The trauma and intimidation you and the other men faced is unimaginable. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially those who've been wrongfully accused.

Donald Trump had no political power 30 years ago. He didn't put these men in prison. The district attorney did.

That's terrifying. Imagine having to face that kind of hate and intimidation every day because someone you're accused of wronging is powerful. No wonder it took years for justice to be served.

I get that they were supposedly coerced into confession and were rightfully exonerated. But they did confess and the public didn't know they were coerced. The public's reaction was the correct reaction, just unknowingly aimed at the wrong people.
