Unpopular opinion: Vibe coders are shipping better products than people who actually code manually.

Tokenization still gets written off as a startup experiment. Chainlink's Andrew McCormick says the core of US securities markets is now building it. "This is DTCC." "This is not a startup, some fintech." "This is the core anchor of our securities markets, working with Chainlink to make tokenized equities a reality."

We're moving from a chain-centric view of the world to a token-centric view. When tokens matter more than chains, the connective tissue between them becomes the whole game.
To unlock the full value of tokenization, markets need interoperability to connect platforms, improve efficiency and support broader adoption at scale. Explore the key takeaways from our latest white paper, The Connective Tissue of Digital Finance, co-authored with @Citibank and @swiftcommunity: dtcc.com/insights/2026/why-i…

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce calls to end mass KYC data collection, warning it puts crypto holders at risk of phishing and physical attacks. Pierce says the current KYC/AML system creates massive databases of sensitive information that can be hacked, leaked, or exploited. She's pushing for zero-knowledge proofs (ZK proofs) that could verify users meet regulatory requirements without exposing their personal information.

So what’s next for Cerebro? Now that both the Launchpad and Merry Men have been pushed into beta, I think the first thing we need to do is thank the community that stayed with us and believed in the original vision: building an economy around inference. When we first laid out Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, they were never supposed to be three random products. Phase 1 distributed inference. Phase 2 gave that inference a market. Phase 3 gave agents and applications a reason to actually consume it. Everything was built to eventually connect. Could we have moved faster in certain areas? Absolutely. But being first means very little if what you ship doesn’t work. We chose to spend more time getting the foundation right, even when that meant watching other projects move quickly around similar ideas. And I’m not going to pretend that was always easy to watch. When we started showing what we were building around the Launchpad, seeing $ORBIO later move in a very similar direction was frustrating. I’m not going to sit here and claim what happened behind closed doors or say where their idea came from, because I can’t prove that. But from our side, the timing hurt. When you’re a smaller project building something publicly, another project releasing a similar concept can take the attention away almost overnight. Suddenly something you’ve spent the last two weeks building and pushing toward doesn’t feel new anymore to people watching from the outside. For a while, it genuinely felt like we got punched in the face for showing our hand early. But maybe that’s part of building in public. We could sit around arguing about who thought of what first, but that doesn’t move Cerebro forward. The only answer is to keep shipping and make what we’re building impossible to confuse with anyone else. The Launchpad is in beta. Merry Men is in beta. The three phases are connected. Inference is being distributed, traded and consumed. The economy around inference that we talked about from the beginning is no longer just something sitting on a roadmap. And we’re not stopping here. More features on the Launchpad will start being unlocked very soon. Merry Men will continue receiving updates as well, with more of its privacy features being opened up piece by piece. Both are still in beta for a reason. We’ll keep testing, improving and adding what we’ve been working on until both are ready to come out of beta. There’s still a lot we haven’t shown yet.

MORE: The SEC uses the classic Howey test to determine when crypto assets and token sales constitute securities under federal law, focusing on economic reality rather than terminology. Assets fall under securities regulation if investors reasonably expect profits driven by the managerial efforts of founders or central entities. Issuers offering crypto asset securities must provide tailored disclosures beyond traditional models. This new guidance mandates clear reporting on token mechanics, network governance, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, concentration of token ownership, valuation methods, and promoter involvement. Absolutely massive for transparency and legitimization of this industry. This new guidance also distinguishes basic network validation from pooled staking services, liquid staking tokens, or yield-bearing stablecoins, which carry a heightened risk of being classified as investment contracts. Additionally, traditional assets tokenized on a blockchain remain fully subject to standard securities registration and compliance rules. A security onchain is still a security, big surprise there… I digress. This is absolutely massive for clarification of the rules, and the SEC is coming in big time post-CLARITY failure. Absolutely love to see it.
NEW: SEC staff clarifies when live tokens, buybacks, and staking receipts are not securities. Absolutely huge for onchain finance.

Introducing Orbio Agentic Launchpad Launch a token, and it funds its own intelligence. Trading fees turn into tokenized CREDIT the agent spends on models, X, web search, scraping, onchain reads, publishing. First 100 launches start with $10 of inference on us. No keys to top up, no human in the loop.

MORE: According to Bitget CEO, Gracy Chen, it looks like there was a security key that was hacked and was able to lead to false authentication of signing processes to transfer funds out of their hot wallet. Serious negligence on the part of Bitget for this size of capital not tightly secured. Feel bad for their team right now and hope they're able to quickly recover with the help of other exchanges or partners who can backstop this hole. You also wonder if AI had a part in this....
