Big thank you to
@PropFirmMatch @propfirmexpo for hosting a great event.
I wanted to share my thoughts because I’ve seen a lot of negativity online, and I think it’s only fair that people hear another perspective.
Firstly, the event was incredible. Massive credit to the team behind Prop Firm Match. As someone who hosts events and knows what goes into organising them, I can honestly say it’s an enormous amount of work, and I don’t think people realise how many moving parts there are.
I completely understand that some attendees had frustrations, but from what I witnessed, I’d like to clear a few things up.
• The air conditioning was on. The UK is currently experiencing unusually hot weather, and when you have hundreds of people walking in and out of a venue all day, it’s incredibly difficult to keep the temperature down. That’s unfortunately just the reality of hosting a large indoor event.
• I’ve seen people saying the event was oversold. From what I personally saw, that wasn’t the issue. The biggest challenge was crowd behaviour. There were people pushing through doors, ignoring instructions, being rude to venue staff, security, exhibitors, and even other attendees. I personally experienced people demanding free challenge accounts and mentoring, and when they were told no, they became disrespectful.
• The venue wasn’t stopping people entering because it was oversold. They were trying to manage numbers safely inside the main exhibition hall. Once it became too busy, they introduced a one-in, one-out system to prevent things becoming unsafe. Meanwhile, the outdoor area, side stages and other exhibitor spaces still had plenty of room.
When hundreds of excited traders all rush towards the same booths at the same time, it creates problems that no organiser wants.
Now let’s talk about everything that went right…
✅ Traders travelled from all over the UK—and even internationally—to network with like-minded people.
✅ For tickets that were only around £6-£30, many people walked away with funded challenge accounts, mentoring opportunities and prizes worth hundreds, sometimes over £1,000.
✅ It gave creators, businesses and traders a chance to meet face-to-face instead of behind a screen.
✅ People built genuine business relationships, partnerships and friendships.
✅ There were talks, activities, competitions and opportunities to learn from some of the biggest names in the industry.
✅ Content creators and businesses had an amazing opportunity to create content and grow their brands.
No event is ever perfect, especially when it’s growing this quickly. The important thing is learning from feedback and making the next one even better.
From what I saw, the team genuinely cared, worked incredibly hard throughout the day, and handled a difficult situation as professionally as they could.
Looking forward to seeing what next year’s event looks like. 👏🤍
