#Analogizer WIP PS/2 Keyboard + SNES SNAC support, testing it using the OpenFPGA MSX core by @marcusjordan . I'm developing a customized SNAC PS/2 adapter to use it with Analogizer along Blue212 type of NES/SNES SNAC adapters as you see in the image.
Pixel to Polygon just dropped a nice overview of DoomUltra64. The channel name was basically waiting for this project!
Go check it out, drop a like, and help them grow.
Diablo for Analogue Pocket now has keyboard and mouse support when docked!
Real pointer acceleration: it tracks how fast you're moving and scales the cursor accordingly
1/ Open-sourcing openfpgaOS: an experimental OS for FPGAs, for non-threaded apps. Like DOS, but full 32-bit with a POSIX API. RISC-V soft core, musl, C/C++ and an SDL2 shim. Doom, Quake, Diablo and ScummVM run on it. 🧵
4/ Audio is a 32-voice hardware mixer streaming PCM from SDRAM over its own AXI4 master with 2-tap interpolation, per-voice ramp and pan, 4 groups + master, 48 kHz stereo. Priority-based voice stealing. A CPU mixer takes over on builds that cut it.
5/ What I like most: the OS and the RTL move together. Add hardware, expose a capability bit, and the same os.bin lights it up at boot so you can try a logic idea and have real software exercise it the same day.

I just updated Doom and Quake for Analogue Pocket with lots of performance improvements and mouse + keyboard support!
I tried Dawn of the Machine (new Quake episode). It slows down in some areas but it works!
