for people who consistently bring this scene up y'all don't seem to know what's actually happening in it. yes, bakugou is actively trying to attack shouto because he's pissed that shouto didn't use his fire during their fight

Not to mention Katsuki saw it as a way to not only prove himself but also because he wanted to one up Izuku and do what he couldn't do due to his huge insecurities with him at this point in the story, while reminding us of Katsuki's "big fish, small pond" syndrome.

That's why Midoriya is better than him, because he was the reason Shoto could finally use his fire, thanks to what he told him. Bakugo wanted to come out on top as the best, but since things didn't go his way, he threw that tantrum.
