IFA 2028 has come to a close, and there were some pretty crazy, interesting, and fun pieces of tech shown off this year. Check out my video on the craziest tech finds from IFA in Berlin!

I had a chance to check out the new Googlebooks from @HP and @Dell, powered by the @Snapdragon X Elite chips, and there are a few differences between them that you should know before making a choice. Here are the differences and similarities so you can make the right choice for you. What do you think of the new @Google book?

This is the FIRST smartphone with the new @Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor in it. The FIRST mobile CPU to hit 5Ghz. The @Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has that awesome rear-display that allows you to use widgets for messages, calendars, battery life, fun virtual pets, and much more. It also allows you to monitor yourself when taking photos and videos when using the main 200MP Main and Telephoto camera, or the 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera. The big new feature is the privacy display that allows you to turn on the ability to black out the display when it’s viewed off-axis. You can do this for the full display or for specific apps. Finally, there are five new colors coming to China. White, gray, pink, cosmic blue, and a special edition transparent red that looks amazing! What do you think of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max? Have the frontier-labs tried directing their hacking efforts at themselves instead of literally everyone else? Quite convenient that it hasn’t happened to them yet. Makes sense when it’s DIRECTED BY THE FRONTIER LABS and NOT DECIDED BY THE AI.

I was wondering when Sonos would make another Ace, and now we have the Sonos Ace Ultra Headphones. They have the same wonderful hardware design as the normal Ace, but with new color-ways that I like a lot! And while I didn’t prefer the sound on the original Ace, it was hard to deny the thoughtfulness and details put into the design and way it interacted with the Sonos ecosystem. Well, with the new Sonos Ace Ultra, the sound is not only better, but they give you access to an 8-Band EQ, and I was easily able to get a sound that I liked a lot. That makes me so stoked because these are really nicely designed headphones, and now I can enjoy listening to anything on them, too! L

The Beats 360 are here, and it’s a whole new design that is modern, clean, stylish, and customizable with multiple colors and materials available for the ear cups and the head cushion. It’s honestly so much fun getting the look you want and mixing and matching. ANC, transparency-wise, they’re fine, but they have the great benefit of having fast-pair capabilities on BOTH iOS and Android because Apple owns Beats.
