god damn blast just gave ct more ideas to fud abstract
Blast will be shutting down.
We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers. Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense: the ongoing costs of maintaining Blast exceed the revenue generated by the L2, and we do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable.
As a result, we've made the difficult decision to wind Blast down.
We're sorry to the users and developers who believed in Blast, built on it, and supported the ecosystem. Our priority now is making the shutdown as smooth and safe as possible.
We're asking all users to withdraw their assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including any balances held in the Blast PWA.
To make this easier, we will be reducing the withdrawal delay to 24 hours.
As part of the shutdown process, we'll first begin withdrawing Blast's Lido assets. This process is expected to take approximately one week. During this period, withdrawals will temporarily be unavailable, even after the withdrawal delay is reduced to 24 hours.
Once that process is complete, withdrawals will resume with the new 24-hour delay.
Users will have until October 26, 2026 to withdraw through the normal Blast interface.
After October 26, assets will remain withdrawable, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. We'll publish detailed instructions before then.
We strongly encourage everyone to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet before October 26.

One of the key challenges that I faced right away on building my own IP is the transition from Fine Art to Digital Art; comic/manga inspired style.
Started in 2024, I have no prior experience whatsoever in doing illustration/comic style art direction.
Within 2 years, I found a lot of differences; whether it's the principles, techniques, and process behind it.
Especially with a heavy influence from realism during my early days in the college.
I found that my expressionism-approach on starting an artwork (even till finished) is also suitable for the digital landscape.
One thing that I haven't try is painting an illustration/comic art style on canvas!

Historic Sale on GONDI:
CryptoPunk #8348, the one and only 7-trait Punk, sold for 3,000,000 USDC + undisclosed amount.
The largest sale in GONDI history.
Previously in a 2,800,000 USDC loan, this legendary Punk sold via Sell & Repay, seamlessly settling the loan as part of the sale.
The House of Grails. Where icons change hands and history is made.
Congratulations to @seedphrase on the sale and to the new owner on acquiring a true icon. 🥂

Do you guys know who made this character sheet?
It has been very useful to me in developing several main figures in Kalthera; The Eleventh Gate series.
Pretty detailed personal detail for every character build, gave me a clear starting point and character development ideas.
It is created by Hirohiko Araki, the creator of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure.
I think there aren't many people aware of this, so if you find this useful as well, go have some fun building your own!
I will be sharing a few characters from Kalthera with this sheet later on (after I finish the traits ofc hehe)

THE GATES ARE OPEN. 23 HOURS ON THE CLOCK. ⏱️
Whitelists are done. Lists are erased. The yard is officially open to anyone who respects the culture.
You have exactly 23 hours to pull up and claim your spot in the crew. When the clock hits zero, the gates get welded shut for good.
No extensions. Unrevealed heat. Lock in.
