The little #peakdistrict village of Hathersage at first light on a winter morning. Only a few hardy souls ventured out, the old stone buildings glowed under the snow, and children on sledges filled the hills of the Hope Valley beyond. @vpdd

Late to this but no excuse from @oldvictheatre casting a sighted actor as Tyreseus. In fact it's a disgrace and I'm heartbroken by the lack of uproar from the rest of the theatre industry.

My sleepy home village of Hathersage this morning, as the snow fell softly and the lights twinkled. Only a few hardy souls were out, and me in my wellies. Hathersage has strong associations with Charlotte Bronte, and The George Inn is featured in her classic novel ‘Jane Eyre’.
