I had this idea for a simple MMO game for years. I never made a game before. I finally built it in a few months with Claude Code. Now it’s live: boatgame.io I’d love feedback.

That reframes it correctly. The honest read: three honest limitations— two are serious, and one is mine. Rather than take them at face value, let me verify. The gap is real. And the fix is — in.

Chairman Pikachu is on a historic visit to Apple Park, where he is meeting Tim Cook and John Ternus to discuss recent tensions on the border. The esteemed Chairman was warmly received and personally inspected the orchards, whose exceptional harvest reflects the boundless prosperity of the Cupertino people. nitter.net/tim_cook/status/209309…
Today’s agenda at Apple Park: Introduce the @Pokemon team to John, talk gaming, and politely ask Pikachu to stay out of the pond. Two out of three were accomplished.

If enjoying the fact that AI helps me build stuff that I couldn't build before means that I "never understood creativity or human nature" than...man, I'm just going to walk away smh.

The failure of mainstream media as a reliable and trusted source of information will become a subject of study, but it has already lost so much relevance that most people probably won’t care what happened to it.

Bc of that we’d be churning out sometimes 15 posts a day on topics we never covered (I never covered Oculus, as u know). The bad incentives of FB’s traffic era led to random social media editors like me writing up posts w zero context and no time to reach out for comment.

I kept my iPhone 14 Pro in perfect condition for four years to preserve its trade-in value, only to smash it a month before the new iPhones come out. That’s the Year of the Fire Horse.

Employee 'perks' like snacks or gym memberships are the glass beads of corporate culture. The only thing that matters is money in the bank and work-life-balance.
Many such cases at meta. Tbh, I was always shocked that people would ask things like this. Why would you live identify yourself to the CEO as someone who’s top concern is minor perks? And when I say minor, I mean MINOR. A couple of stories I remember vividly: 1) early in my tenure (maybe 2018), one guy asked Mark if they could have different backboards for the basketball court because it was too sunny through the clear glass ones. Mark was speechless. 2) if you’re unfamiliar with the microkitchens at fb, they are fully stocked snack kitchens, all sorts of nuts, snacks, candy, bars, soda, water, etc. another time someone asked Mark if they could put out takeaway bags in the microkitchens so they could bring snacks home. I honestly don’t know how you get these questions and not think to yourself that given the poor judgment this person just demonstrated asking the question, they should probably be fired.

"We have yummy snacks!!!" Thanks, but I’ll buy my own snacks from the money you pay me.

After OF, a new lucrative spectacle of the attention economy has emerged: find a woman willing to be dunked on and sell tickets to men who want to throw tomatoes and men who want to rescue her. Sometimes, at the same time.
