A cool change and grey days doesn鈥檛 stop this pair of king parrots hanging out on my side fence (I do add some native bird seeds to the posts 馃槈).

With all the birds we get to see in Sydney, a king parrot isn鈥檛 one of them. They鈥檙e spectacular.

And I haven鈥檛 seen or heard any Noisy Miners or Indian Mynas. And many naughty and bossy Rainbow Lorikeets move on the King Parrots to try and get the seeds.

Ha! It鈥檚 wild. They are everywhere! Open a car door, they鈥檙e there. Open the front door and there鈥檚 a mass on the inside of the screen door.

Three months to check out if it works (my wife is on LSL). 5 years until she retires, so whether it is a holiday house or a move is a decision that is years away.馃槈

Animal companion information. King parrots are totally addicted to dried wattle seeds, esp Brisbane wattles. I know.
