September 6th will mark exactly one year since we took our seat on Cardano’s Constitutional Committee.
Since then, we have participated in 100% of all eligible governance actions.
We would like to continue serving for another year, as we were elected to do, without interruptions.

DRep voting for the 4 CC member seats up for renewal in epoch 653 is underway on the Hydra Voting platform.
So far 13 DReps, representing 601.2M ada voting power, have voted across the 10 available candidates. Participation is essential to ensure legitimacy of the candidates that will ultimately be included in the Update Committee governance action on-chain.

The Constitutional Committee election currently has five candidates competing for four seats.
Which means we're exactly at the point where someone will experience the revolutionary concept of "not getting elected."
Progress.
But honestly, five candidates for four seats in an ecosystem worth billions is still a little wild.
We've got thousands of people willing to explain on X why everyone else is doing governance wrong.
We've got hundreds willing to write 47-post threads about governance.
We've got dozens willing to spend four hours arguing over a comma in the Constitution.
Yet somehow only five people have decided to put their own name on the ballot.
Curious.
If you've ever spent an evening rage-reading a governance action, muttered "who approved this?" at your screen, or written a comment beginning with "with all due respect..." before proceeding to show absolutely none, you may already be qualified.
The CC isn't a secret society of governance demigods.
It's mostly reading documents, applying the Constitution, and discovering new and exciting ways humans can interpret the same sentence completely differently.
So if you've been waiting until you feel 100% qualified, stop.
Half of governance is people figuring things out as they go.
The other half is pretending they aren't.
Apply.
Best case: you help safeguard the Constitution.
Worst case: you lose an election and immediately become qualified to spend the next year explaining how the election should have been run.
