A previous bill suggested the public money could come from corporate fines paid by fraudsters. But he’s right you wouldn’t actually need to spend much.

“Exploiting a tax credit loophole” is another way of saying “exploiting taxpayers.”
Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidize billionaires, and billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy the politicians creating loopholes in our tax laws for them.
Meta is exploiting a tax credit loophole for its data centers, which allowed the company to skirt $3.9 billion in 2025 taxes.
