Every single word. I use this test. Feminists who support Hamas, musicians who support Hamas, writers who support Hamas, actors who support Hamas - all worthless, wicked trash.
Yesterday, @StephenESachs asked a good question: How do we act within a world where supporting or justifying Oct. 7 is no barrier to polite society? I have some answers: commentary.org/seth-mandel/o…

We are in so much trouble
In September, a White House security official wrote to a colleague in the administration: “The UK is making another attempt to put a backdoor on iCloud. This time by their secret court. They’re going to lean on a court order to justify it. They will use this back door to spy on the administration and Nigel Farage.”

BBC, obviously
For me, 7 October is not just a story I report. It is deeply personal. My father, my brothers and my sisters are still in Gaza. Every strike, every displacement order, every night of fear reaches my own family. The Gaza I grew up in has been shattered. People I knew are gone. Places filled with memories have disappeared. Three years later, my hope is painfully simple: that my family can stay on the land we call home. And my deepest fear is that one day, they may be forced to leave it.

This is how the @BBCNews destroyed its reputation in this war. Its main correspondent has turned a drug fuelled rape and murder orgy by his own countrymen into portraying himself and those that supported it into victims. Bowen, Doucet, Simpson and that newsroom are all complicit

I don't know what the solution is to the Israel-Palestine conflict. But I do think those in favour of a Two-State Solution should take a serious look at this topological map of the territory and understand why quite a lot of Israelis are hesitant, especially post-October 7 2023.

Amazing. If you’re on benefits, you can have prison visits to criminal friends and family subsidised for up to 26 (!!) visits a year. Food, drink, accommodation and car hire costs can all be claimed back!
British State and policy wonks navel gazing about how to trim the benefits bill. How about we stop subsidising the benefit dependent to visit their criminal loved ones in prison? ‘£40.00 a day to hire a car and food and drink is claimable’. This is utter insanity.

Our @NHS Our @gmcuk both really didn’t want to suspend this dedicated member of the healing professions
Until very recently, this dangerous woman was working in the NHS. She’s been suspended for antisemitism. Antisemitism is extremism.

What actually makes it high stakes is that a thousand year old civilisation is about to be washed away by a few decades of immigration for some unarticulated reason, everything else is a sideshow
What makes British politics so high stakes at the moment is the Right is systematically building the case to dismantle a large swathe of Britain’s welfare state non-pensioners.

On the anniversary of the October 7 attacks, actress Denise Gough posts a video of a passerby in Dublin verbally abusing an Israeli citizen in Ireland She uses the laughter emojis😂 and the tricolor 🇮🇪 to express her amusement This isn't about rebuilding Gaza or creating a better future for all It's about creating a permission structure for racial abuse and xenophobia

The maxim that character is what you do when no-one is watching, wasn't applied to Hasan over his notorious kuffar/cattle sermon. It should have been career-ending - instead, his self-serving, disingenuous mea culpa was accepted, & his poison has a vast, international audience.
I used to respect Mehdi as a serious journalist, even when I disagreed with him. But he’s become such a charlatan. This question been answered, and the answer is: around a dozen, maybe 1% of the overall total. Tragic, but not the big ‘gotcha’ he implies.

French rioters are blasting the rap song “MRH” which glorifies a terrorist who executed a 3 year old French Jewish child. Lyrics: “Like Mohamed Merah, dodging the cameras at the Bataclan, I shot him with my eyes, manhunt, Salah Abdeslam.” 14 years ago Mohammed Merah broke into a Jewish school in the French town of Toulouse and executed a pair of 3 year old and 5 year old French Jewish boys. He then chased an 8 year old Jewish girl named Myriam Monsonego. Merah caught her by her hair and raised a gun to execute her. His gun jammed, so he changed weapons. He then shot the little girl in the head while filming the execution with his GoPro. He later said that he carried out this crime to “uphold the honour of Islam.” He called it an act of revenge because “the Jews kill our brothers and sisters in Palestine.” According to one of his brothers, Merah was raised in an "atmosphere of racism and hatred" in their Muslim family. Merah's sister Souad later said, "I am proud of my brother. He fought until the end against the Jews, and all those who massacre Muslims, I detest them." According to his brother, when Merah's body was brought home, members of the local terrorist community visited the family to praise his actions and they cried tears of joy. Their only regret was that Merah had not killed more Jews. Merah was buried on 29 March 2012 in the Muslim section of the Cornebarrieu cemetery, near Toulouse. About 50 people attended, including the local imam. The mayor of Toulouse at the time tried to block Mohammed Merah’s burial, so French President Nicolas Sarkozy stepped in to support the burial. "He was French. Let him be buried and let's not have any arguments about it," Sarkozy said. Now he is held up as a hero by French rioters.
France is outraged by the high school protesters using the rap song MRH in their protest. In the song, they reference the Islamist terrorist Mohammed Merah who murdered 8-year-old Myriam Monsonego back in 2012 for being Jewish. On March 19th 2012, Mohammed Merah arrived at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school in Toulouse heavily armed. He first shot Rabbi Jonathan Sandler and Sandler’s sons, Arieh and Gabriel, who were waiting near the gate. Myriam, the school director’s daughter, ran into the courtyard. Witnesses and later trial testimony said she turned back for her pink schoolbag with her favorite ballet slippers. She stumbled and was caught. Merah grabbed her by the hair and shot her in the head. He murdered 7 people in total

He’s at it again. After many fine words about the right of Jewish people to live in peace, and the horror of the attack on this day, he adds this. He cannot help himself. There might be “a moment” to do this. But today is not that moment.
