I left Twitter last year over Elon Musk's appalling support of far-right ideology and aggressive targeting of racial & sexual minority people.
The situation has only worsened, so I'm deleting the account altogether, which I began building in 2007. I urge others to join me.

The biggest single day was of course Saturday, when the parade, tailgates, the Plots, Aggie Fan Fest and, of course. the sold-out game drew more than 70,000 fans.
But other events were big, too. The GHOE hip hop show sold out, drawing 14.5K, and another 7K saw the step show.

Kudos to @CNN for banning this appalling guest. Comments like this should be far beyond the pale of public discourse, but here we are.
BREAKING: CNN has just BANNED MAGA commentator Ryan Girdusky after he made a revolting comment to @mehdirhasan, saying, “I hope your beeper doesn’t go off” because Hasan expressed support for Palestinians.
As a Jewish American, let me make this absolutely clear: this is beyond disgusting. Most Jewish Americans, myself included, stand with the Palestinian people. We support their right to live in peace and dignity—we simply don’t support terrorists in Gaza or the West Bank. Equating all Palestinians with terrorism is not just ignorant; it’s dangerous and deeply offensive.

I got 7/8 correct and was genuinely surprised by the one I missed. Try it - it's worth your time:

This AMAZING. North Carolina Central University hosted a “Soar to the Polls” with a marching band & just look at how many young people showed up to soar to the polls. This is why we’re going to win. These young people are going to save us.

.@marceelias, does the big win in AZ have implications for VA, where Youngkin similarly removed hundreds of thousands of voters within 90 days of the election?

Combined w/ A&T's status as America's most affordable doctoral research U, that's amazing ROI.🔥

Now we learn that, like so many times before, the officer who yanked Tyreek Hill out of his car and forced him to the pavement while screaming profanities has previously been suspended 6 times for a total of 50 days.
Why was he still employed by MDPD?
