i got jev + an llm playing doom, with a twist: try several futures, then keep playing from the best outcome.
jev picks the moves. a custom harness uses @microsandbox to run attempts in parallel from the same checkpoint. the llm reviews what happened and guides what to try next.
not enough? it rewinds to an earlier checkpoint and tries another path.

no one’s gonna manually write code professionally again in a few years time. no need being attached to the past; it’s gradually becoming a relic.
skills come, skills go, humans adapt. the core desire has always been to automate, and have more time to be creative; and over centuries it’s been expressed in different forms. coding is just one expression. 200 years ago it was mechanical computers, 70 years ago assembly, couple years from now (possibly voice).
no need holding so much attachment to one of the expression like it’s always existed since the beginning of time.
i’d rather build competence in systems architecture and design.

sucks we wouldn't be able to attend the YC fall batch due to visa issues (we've deferred twice). but, what's life without rollercoasters. 😅
seems we'll end up telling the story of how we became a unicorn without attending an in-person batch, and hopefully inspire more folks. 🦄
