Everyone in Web3 wants to get to mainnet.
We intentionally slowed down.
And I know that's probably the opposite of what you're supposed to say in crypto. 😂
Launch fast.
Create hype.
Get people trading.
Fix everything later.
We've watched that movie enough times.
We're not building Skill Stacker that way.
We've been pretty quiet lately, and there's a reason.
We've been building.
Because if we're going to tell people that their skills, reputation and professional identity can live on-chain...
we better make damn sure the infrastructure underneath it deserves their trust.
So before we move Skill Stacker Passports and Credentials onto Solana mainnet, we went back through EVERYTHING.
Authentication.
Wallets.
Escrow.
Withdrawals.
Payouts.
Fees.
Smart contracts.
Permissions.
Everything.
And we're not moving to mainnet because some arbitrary date on a roadmap says we're supposed to.
We're moving when it's ready.
Here's where we are.
🔐 FIRST: WE TRIED TO BREAK IT.
Before a single real dollar moves through the Skill Stacker
Marketplace, we ran a full security review.
Every path involving money was hardened.
Escrow.
Payouts.
Withdrawals.
Fees.
We added protections against double payments.
Withdrawal limits and approvals.
And ledger checks comparing what's happening on-chain with our internal records.
Then we retested everything.
And the tests that caught problems?
They're now permanently built into our development process.
If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
Simple.
⛓️ OUR PASSPORTS ARE ALREADY ON SOLANA.
Not mainnet yet.
Devnet.
And that's intentional.
We currently have TWO Solana programs running:
Passport + Credentials.
And every single code change now has to survive:
✅ 49 automated tests
✅ 17 live on-chain tests
And here's one of my favorite parts:
The deployed programs are verified byte-for-byte against our source code.
Meaning what's running on-chain is exactly what we say is running on-chain.
We've even rehearsed transferring control of the programs and transferring it back.
Why?
Because when we go to mainnet, I don't want the security of this network dependent on one person's private key.
Control will ultimately sit behind secure multi-signature protection.
That's how this should be built.
🪪 143 PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY CLAIMED THEIR PASSPORT.
This might be my favorite number in this entire update.
143.
No massive ad campaign.
No celebrity endorsement.
No VC hype machine.
Just people who understand where this is going.
And especially our Founding members who planted their flag before any of this was obvious.
If you were one of the early people who claimed using only your wallet, we've now made it possible to connect that original
Passport to your email account.
Takes about two minutes.
Your Passport number stays.
Your Founding status stays.
Your history stays.
You simply sign a free message proving you own the original wallet.
No transaction.
No fee.
Nothing moves.
📸 AND YOUR PASSPORT NOW HAS A FACE.
Profile photos are live.
But there was a tiny detail here that most people will probably never notice.
When you upload a photo, we process it server-side and strip hidden metadata—including location data—from the image.
Most people will never know we did that.
Good.
That's kind of the point.
Privacy shouldn't require you to think about it.
🔍 SO WHY AREN'T WE ON MAINNET YET?
Because we're still not done trying to break it.
Our Solana programs are entering another dedicated code review.
After that:
Independent external audit.
Then mainnet.
Could we move faster?
Probably.
Would announcing “WE'RE LIVE!!! 🚀🚀🚀” generate more attention right now?
Absolutely.
I don't care.
I'd rather explain why we took longer than explain why somebody lost money.
🔥 AND THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET REALLY INTERESTING.
Mainnet isn't the finish line.
It's when the pieces start connecting.
Your Skill Stacker Passport becomes your professional identity.
Your verified credentials become proof.
Your work becomes evidence.
Your reputation compounds.
And your skills become economically useful.
One of the first examples will be Meme Militia.
Instead of saying:
"I'm good at social media."
Imagine your Passport showing verified evidence that you actually produced content, generated engagement and contributed to a real campaign.
Content Creation.
Meme Marketing.
Social Media Marketing.
Real work → real proof → attached to a real skill.
Then comes the Marketplace.
Someone needs talent.
They find someone based on what that person can prove they can do.
They hire them.
Milestone-based escrow protects both sides.
Work gets completed.
Payment gets released.
The result becomes another piece of reputation.
And the flywheel starts:
Learn → Prove → Work → Earn → Build Reputation → Unlock Opportunity.
This is what I've been trying to explain for years.
Skill Stacker isn't another freelance website.
It's not another résumé builder.
And despite having a token...
it's definitely not another crypto project looking for a reason to exist.
We're building the infrastructure around something every human already owns:
Their skills.
And in a world where AI is making it ridiculously easy to fake expertise...
I believe proof of human capability is about to become incredibly valuable.
That's the bet.
That's what we're building.
And we're getting closer.
To the 143 people who already planted their flag...
Thank you.
To everyone who reported a bug, tested something, broke something, challenged us or asked a hard question...
Thank you.
You're helping us build this correctly.
We're not rushing mainnet.
We're earning our way there.
🚀 The Road to Mainnet continues.
Your skills are an asset. Prove them.
