Having been granted anonymity so that he could give evidence to the inquiry, 'HN86' first went to court to argue against being made to attend, then when he lost that case, used the "I'm too ill" excuse.

"Additional hearing days have been added on Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 September during which the Inquiry will hear evidence from HN86"

This is one of the many reasons that the #spycops inquiry can not be closed down prematurely. There is — I think — a huge psychological benefit in being able to see them again, to hear them give evidence and process their lies. (It's also why they should be compelled to attend).
Those original women only realised the truth years later, in most cases after seeing/ hearing their deceivers give evidence in this inquiry
- or in Steel’s case, through reading Dines’ statement and reflecting on the way he interacted with her in Australia.

Geoff Sheppard - is this THREE times he has faced court proceedings down to #spycops manipulation - jailed due to involvement in Bob Lambert agent provoked Debenhams arson plot 1987… Jailed 1995 after manipulation by HN1 ‘Matt Rayner’…
Dines was never arrested for this.
Sheppard’s trial took place in the summer of 1991.
Dines told Steel that he was going along to the court case to act as a witness, and even marked the date on their shared wall calendar.

OTD in 1999 Met police officers killed Harry Stanley, a Scottish decorator living in London. Harry was carrying a table leg in a plastic bag when the two policemen pulled up and fatally shot him in the back.
It was #spycops Carlo Soracchi/ Neri who spied on Harry's family.
