Update: I've corrected my story as the Xbox cloud streaming rights deal for GTA 6 appears to be more complicated than I originally reported. Sorry for the confusion! theverge.com/report/1005859/…

As long as they don't go through with limiting the cloud service or whatever they have in their patent then this is good for PC players with the Xbox app.

Just a shame cloud gaming at 30fps is completely unplayable. A game needs to be a minimum of 60fps for cloud gaming to be playable because of the added latency.

Cool, until you realized they limited it to 15 hours if you gave ultimate. So literally useless

Well, if a gamer can only play for 'x' amount of hours based on the Game Pass subscription plan purchased, is it worth it? Thoughts?

GTA 6 on PC at Launch? Xbox Made It Happen Rockstar never announced a PC version. But Xbox just secured exclusive cloud streaming rights for GTA 6, meaning PC and mobile players can stream it through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Wild 🔥

This is being done in a push to try and get people off systems they can access to pirate these games and modify them. These executives want all of you to rent their cloud compute instead of having hardware you can tinker with

streaming rights for gta 6 and they still wont fix the queue times

I assume most PC gamers if they wanted to play GTA 6 they probably bought a Playstation already. Maybe it's to late? Casuals probably don't even pay attention to cloud gaming or XBOX at this point.

How much did Microsoft pay for the streaming rights? Must've been a high competitive number?

They should also secure extended or unlimited playtime esp if it’s a time limited streaming agreement
