The best way to fight this is to genuinely just hop in and stumble through it. The more "mistakes" you'll make the easier it'll be next time. It's a skill that's gotta be worked on
people can be worse online than IRL, a lot of the times i see other people acting entitled to treat folks online however the hell they want because "it's not real life so it doesn't count"
I feel online people are scary, most IRL social interactions are quick and charming. Online everybody feels the inherent need to harm you in some way.
I can’t make a quippy comments without somebody threatening to molest me on Twitter.
you might feel that way but it isn't shameful to try to find somebody you like interacting with , imagine you find someone who does and you both make eachothers lives better 💛
I'm pretty confident and charismatic talking to strangers irl. But I get anxiety talking online or on the phone lmao. I basically require body language and reading their energy irl to better communicate. It's also hard to transmit my energy other than irl interactions.
Nah. Everyone has weaknesses. Often times we overly scrutinize what we see as wrong with us, but we need to train ourselves to also look at our strengths and honesty just have a bit of self compassion.
