⚡️Not one Chelsea FC player on that list. Marc Cucurella, who was a #ChelseaFC player not long ago and was sold by BlueCo/Clearlake, now represents Real Madrid and is ranked 18th at the 2026 Ballon d'Or. Sucks to be #CFC right now.

⚡️Be honest, is Mike Penders good enough to start right now? Better than Sanchez? Jorgensen? He is young but why do CFC keep putting themselves in this situation. His handling and balance definately needs work. Spilled and scored an own goal in his first two EPL apps is worrying. A pattern? 🧤 #CFC
Alonso confirmed that Mike Penders has his support and will be in goal against Liverpool. I think Penders was good apart from that mistake. So, no need to panic.

⚡️Two costly Penders moments since Martinez went down: A spill vs Everton, then an own goal vs Tottenham. Yes, for his size we want better handling. But he's young, and benching him now could crush his confidence. Back him, coach him up. Drop or persist? 👇 #CFC

⚡️Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham: Full Time Thoughts ▪️Embarrassing result. Hang your heads in shame! Awful performance, awful formation, wrong personnel, and players not up for the London Dwrby occasion and playing at home. ▪️When I got angry about losing to Spurs in pre-season, people said "it's just pre-season." Well. Its now happened in the EPL. ▪️Xabi Alonso went with what looked like a 4-4-2, Palmer and Rogers up top. I just knew we wouldn't be ourselves without an out-and-out striker. We couldn't keep the ball, got beaten too easily out wide and through the middle, and passed sloppily. We created next to nothing and never linked up in the final third. Caicedo and Hendo are workhorses but offer little in build-up or playmaking. Spurs were the better team. ▪️Cole Palmer, what a silly boy. Silly what he did against Everton, and now he's punished against Spurs to see RED.🔴 ▪️Penders punching the ball in his own net. Whay an awful first goal to concede 🤦‍♂️, and Tel ran through far too easily for the second goal. ▪️We were scrappy, with no outlet up front because there was no out-and-out ST on the pitch. What was the point of signing Welbeck? This loss is on Xabi Alonso and the people who built this mid-level squad. Penders, Josh, Hato, Hendo, Palestra, Quenda, Chavarria, Barco etc, wouldn't start for a Premier League winning side but are good enough to start for us. Tells you something.

🚨𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Sheikh Mansour sends a Strong Warning to the Premier League Board ahead of Man-city Appeal. “Remember when Serie A relegated their biggest club, Juventus? The league fell off so badly that nobody barely watches it again. Even when Juventus returned, the league has continued struggling till today. That will exactly be the same thing that will happen if you relegate Manchester City. You need to look at the bigger picture before destroying the very league we are trying to protect. Everything we have done is for the greater good and betterment of the league, we and the 1billion city fans are the face of premier league in Europe. Premier league must not fall”

⚡️#ManCity fans keep bragging about how massive their club is, yet they can't even fill their own stadium for a Champions League game. 🤣 The Etihad holds over 61,000, but City only managed around 40,000 against AEK. For a club that claims to be one of the biggest in the world, that's embarrassing. #MCIAEK #UCL
This turnout is fucking diabolical 💀

⚡️ Everton 0-2 Chelsea Full-Time Thoughts ▪️HUGE win. ✅ Back-to-back wins, our first clean sheet of the season, and hand Everton their first defeat. The performance was far more controlled than recent games. ▪️The first half was slow, with just one shot in the opening 14 minutes, and we were fortunate not to be punished when Barry got two big chances. ▪️Josh Acheampong showed promise but still has plenty to learn. He makes at least one costly mistake a game right now, which is why I'm not convinced he's ready to start regularly if this team wants to challenge at the top. ▪️The officiating didn't help. Joao Pedro had multiple penalty shouts waved away, Garner escaped punishment after kicking out at Rogers, and Tarkowski won a free-kick that never looked a foul. Tierney had a poor afternoon. ▪️The game changed after the break. We completely controlled the first 15 minutes of the second half with possession, territory and chances. Hato did brilliantly in the build-up to Neto's opener, and from there we never really looked back. ▪️Pedro Neto deserves huge credit. Two goals, relentless work rate, and exactly the same player he's been since we signed him. I never understood why some fans wanted him sold. ▪️Maetinez injury is a concern, hope its nothing serious. Penders took his chance brilliantly. ▪️That said, my MOTM is Cole Palmer. He ran the game, dictated attacks, found space everywhere and was the best player on the pitch. ▪️A clean sheet, improved game control, back-to-back wins, and signs of a team learning how to manage matches. Progress. My main concern right now is Xabi Alonso's late subs in every game. Takes too long but I understood why in this game. Too risky. #CFC #ChelseaFC #EVECHE

⚡️FULL TIME Thoughts: Chelsea 5-1 Bournemouth. What a win! Electric going forward. Best game of the season by far. Fully deserved. Xabi Alonso🔥. ▪️#ChelseaFC looked sharp from the first whistle, its been the case all season. The movement, creativity and finishing were all there. We just need to continue attacking this way. There was also improvement defensively. Conceding just one goal is progress considering we average conceding 2 goals a game this season, and overall there was better control of the game. ▪️That said, we're still not solid or balanced enough defensively. Too often we look vulnerable when isolated 1v1, and we're still far from convincing aerially. We get caught out when balls are sent over the top, players getting in behind our CBs, Fofana (unused sub), Josh, Lacroix & Colwill way too often this season. The clean sheets won't come consistently until that improves. ▪️A huge boost seeing Caicedo, Palmer and Joao Pedro all return from injury and make an impact. Great to see both Caicedo and Joãlao Pedro get through around 70 minutes, while Palestra made his return as well. ▪️But the man of the moment has to be veteran Henderson. Two brilliant goals, one assist, and a true topclass performance. Outstanding. My MOTM. ▪️Joao Pedro: 2 goals, 1 assist. Clinical and influential throughout. I fear we wont be able to hold onto him if Real Madrid or Barcelona came in for him unless #CFC start being seriius and win 🏆titles. Palmer: 1 assist, won the free-kick that led to Henderson's goal, and looked brilliant every time he got on the ball. ▪️Credit also to Rogers who scored a brilliant half cross/Shot. Also, Chavarria and Neto for their assists. Both played really good passes and contributed well in attack. ▪️One thing I don't understand is Estevao's lack of minutes. Just 10 minutes again. That's not progress from last season and it's becoming difficult to see how he develops properly with such limited opportunities. ▪️Overall, it's a fantastic result and plenty of positives to take away. The attack looked dangerous, key players are returning, and confidence should be growing. But let's not ignore the defensive issues. We still leak too many goals and, in my opinion, the defenders simply aren't good enough consistently in duels or in the air. Brilliant win. Plenty to celebrate. But the defensive standards still need to rise. Next up: Everton. 🔵👊

⚡️Genuine question. What exactly have BlueCo/Clearlake done for Chelsea FC in 4–5 years of ownership? Has the club benefitted at all? #ChelseaFC #CFC

⚡️Many clubs have bent the rules, but Man City turned it into an art form. 115 charges later, every "creative deal" looks dirtier. From inflated sponsorships to dodgy transfer accounting, they’ve built an empire on loopholes, and hired a manager (Pep Guardiola) who’s been comfortable with corruption since his Barcelona days. The unfair advantage is clear: Money, manipulation, and a total disregard for the game’s integrity. Am I shocked that #ManCity have completed shady deals, are corrupt, and have no regard for rules? Absolutely not.
Who else ain't shocked 🙄

⚡️Did Man United, Liverpool Arsenal & other elite European clubs have an "unfair advantage" in building their empires with no spending restrictions over new owners today who face PSR & FFP limits? #EPL #UEFA #ChelseaFC #EvertonFC #LeicesterCity #NottinghamForest #ManchesterCity #ManchesterUnited #ArsenalFC #LiverpoolFC #PSG #RealMadrid #FCBarcelona #BayernMunich
Replying to @StanCollymore
What you’re basically saying is that Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal didn’t have any unfair advantage before PSR/FFP, and that their success was purely earned and never protected. If that’s your point, I completely disagree. Here is why: ▪️Those three clubs had zero restrictions while becoming who they are. ▪️Their owners could invest freely. They had decades, even a century to build their foundation, brand, reputation, stadiums, global fanbases, commercial power and on‑field success. ▪️All of that now generates the revenue that keeps them competitive at the very top even under PSR/FFP. Meanwhile, any club trying to reach that level today is immediately restricted. Owners can’t invest freely, can’t fund growth, and can’t build the same foundation because the rules stop them from doing exactly what the original elite clubs were allowed to do. Pretending the original elite don’t have an unfair advantage is delusional. They became giants in an era with no financial barriers, and now those barriers conveniently lock everyone else out.

⚡️Not sure if this is accurate. But these are Chelsea FC reported salaries as of 2026/27. Big jump from the 200K a week mark. Morgan Rogers on £280K a week, I wonder what Enzo Fernandez was demanding. capology.com/club/chelsea/sa…

⚡️What exactly was BlueCo’s strategy? Let’s be honest for a second. ▪️Strategy 1: Slow‑burn rebuild - Start slow. Cut costs. Stack young high‑value prospects to flip. Lean on a feeder club. Hover around top six, maybe sneak into UCL occasionally, maybe win a cup here and there. Spend a decade doing this, then after 2033 start the stadium upgrade and infrastructure uplift. ▪️Strategy 2: Big‑club strategy Go big immediately. Upgrade infrastructure now. Expand the stadium now. Spend like a top EPL club now. Sign elite players and compete for the league straight away. I don’t think it’s Option 2. But curious to hear what goes on in the boardroom. What do you think? Has this changed now?

⚡️Should a club stripped of a title have it handed to the runner‑up? This is the burning question many people ask in the #EPL PSR case against #ManCity . ▪️In my view, there are too many variables. I don’t think Man City’s titles should simply be handed to the nearest club in the table or the runner‑up in a final. No one can say what would’ve happened if Man City hadn’t done what they did. The entire competitive landscape could’ve shifted. The league table might have looked completely different. Rival clubs might have approached seasons differently, made different signings, taken more risks, or had more belief. Just because a team finished second doesn’t mean they would’ve finished second if Man City weren’t artificially boosted. Same with cup finals, Man City might not have even reached those finals, meaning the runner‑up could’ve faced a totally different opponent. ▪️So the real question is: What happens to the titles? Two options: 1. Runner‑up awarded — give the title to the runner‑up, assuming they have no wrongdoing. 2. Vacate title — leave the title empty: "no winner", "vacated title", "unawarded". ▪️My preference is option 2 — and it aligns with the historical preferred options. Vacating titles preserves the reality of what fans actually witnessed on the pitch and respects the unknown variables that make retroactive awarding impossible. Agree or disagree?
