Enter the game mode from Competition Mode on the main menu. - Race through 5 rounds against Player's ghost and AI opponents. - Build your strategy by choosing 1 Main Pet, 2 Support Pets and a Food. - After each round, choose a card upgrade, random enchantment, or Relic to strengthen your team. - Get MMR based on your overall performance at the end of each run. Hello everyone. Sorry for not posting an update last week. We’ve been focusing on the development of the upcoming Pet Competition system, which is one of the major features planned for Skylands. Let us share the early footage of what we're developing. The first competition mode will be Pet Race, where players build a team of pets and compete through multiple racing rounds using pet abilities, support cards, food effects, and strategy combinations. Different pets will have different strengths, and raising multiple pets will become increasingly important for future competitions. In Pet Race, players will build a team of pets and compete through a 5-round racing event against other players. Preparing for the race • Choose 1 Main Pet and up to 2 Support Pets to join the race • Each selected pet becomes a Pet Card with its own abilities during the race • Equip 1 Food Card as a consumable to support your Main Pet • You will have a total of 3 Pet Cards and 1 Food Card in a race setup • Cards activate automatically during the race with different effects and cooldowns • Some abilities help your pet, while others can disrupt opponents During the race • Your Main Pet runs toward the finish line • Running consumes stamina over time • Pets will stop to recover when stamina is depleted • Pet stats will directly affect racing performance, including Speed, Stamina, and Recovery • Each round, players will face a different opponent, requiring flexible strategies and team setups Between rounds • Upgrade a random card • Randomly enchant a card • Add a special perk to strengthen your setup After all 5 rounds are completed, players will receive MMR points based on their performance. Competitive Features • Matchmaking MMR System • Leaderboards • Different pets and card combinations will create different strategies and playstyles We’re still actively working on the system and will share gameplay footage and more details once they are ready.

New Content Commission Quests: Unlocked at Level 5. • Each day, players can accept 1 new request. • Requests can be fulfilled by submitting the required items, including normal crops, ingredients, specific mutated crops, or cooked food. • You can hold up to 3 active requests at a time until they expire. • Players can reroll once per day for free to search for a more suitable request. • Requests come in 3 difficulty levels. Higher difficulty quests offer better rewards, including Skyshards and Skycoins. The first Top Chef Leaderboard has concluded! Shoutout to Tim, JhanTW, and OwO for claiming 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. Hello everyone! We’ve rolled out a new update with a couple of fixes and improvements: Bug Fix The Foodie prefix on pets is now functioning correctly. Pets with the Foodie prefix will now properly gain +1 maximum Hunger unit. Improvement A confirmation button has been added when using Skyshards to purchase rare seeds from the shop, helping prevent accidental purchases.
