Our Co-founder, Ashish Gupta (@ashishgupta1527), had his X account compromised after falling victim to a phishing email impersonating X over a copyright-infringement claim.
He still has access to the original email and phone number associated with the account and has provided supporting evidence, including the phishing email and X security notifications.
We have followed the account-recovery process, but the latest response says X is unable to verify the account owner and cannot provide further assistance.
We are requesting manual security verification and account recovery. Ashish is ready to provide any additional ownership or identity verification required through the official X support process.
