True story:
While I was working at a car dealership in WV, I had this really loud and obnoxious lady who sat at the desk behind me… This was in podunk WV, so the sales associates spent a lot of time around each other…
One day she tells me this story about how her son got in with this cartel out of Mexico… The smugglers would bring vans or box trucks to a Rite-Aid parking lot down in Texas close to the border and leave them… The next morning her son would pick up the truck full of drugs and head back to WV…
Of course, I thought this was all complete 🐂💩, as she was one who liked to brag about what all she and her family had done…
She proceeds to tell me how her son made the trip repeatedly and how he would return the empty truck to the same parking lot and leave the money in an hidden place… This went on for a period of time. Til one day, he leaves the truck where he’s supposed to and keeps the money…
Her son goes off-grid for like a couple years because he knows they’re looking for him…
Still, at this point, I think it’s all 🐂💩…
Then, about a month later this blacked out BMW pulls on the lot… The guys get out and INSTANTLY they look like something out of a movie… Slicked back hair, black leather jackets… Not folks we’re used to seeing around these parts, ya know???
This lady bolts to the back offices in the showroom… As she’s running back, she screams, “If they ask about us, tell them I don’t work here anymore!”
So, they all kinda nominate me to wait on these two guys… I meet them at the showroom door and ask if I can help them…
The one guy looks around the showroom and asks if the lady is there today? I calmly told him no, that she had left a couple months prior… Then, he asked about the son… I told him I’d heard her talk about him when she worked here, but I didn’t know him personally…
They never stepped off the welcome mat… One guy rubbed his hands together, thanked me for my time, and left…
It was THEN, I believed here…🥴
Why would 2 brand new Mercedes Sprinter Vans, with Mexico plates, be in Kentucky?
