Honestly, Iâm not sure anymore.
Iâve been on projects where the docs looked great with clear diagrams, service boundaries, responsibilities... all neat and tidy.
The only problem? They went outdated in months after the releases of few microservices.
Things had changed, no one had updated the docs, and trying to debug the system felt like searching for clues in a story that no longer made sense.
It made me wonder â how are we supposed to keep documentation up to date when systems change so fast?
Lately, Iâve been looking into how AI could help. Auto-documenting systems, surfacing what changed, even helping with debugging.
