creating my own luck

I also remember before they dropped J11 Flints and Purple Metallic 4’s you could scrape PIDs brute forcing ATC requests via wishlist and you could get stock numbers by just spamming a 10k QTY pid. You could even check them out too before the drop as well. I bought over 100 pairs of flints morning of the drop before drop time and passed on the thousands of 4’s they had loaded. Made a few thousand but definitely fumbled the bag not buying the 4’s. My parents house is still permabanned from dicks online and they send gift codes every now and then.

I remember it worked for like 2-3 months. Ended up getting patched after this drop

CLOSEOUT FLOW Backend SKUs from the return intake warehouse is one of the best Nike loops of all time and I’m sorry if you did not get to witness it. Went from phone calling Nike reps and logging good ones to just put requesting them in bag via chrome console.

Wrote my own backend monitors had auto ATC via webhook and all. Logging into dragon run 200+ active restocking SKUs wake up to 10-100+ checkouts every morning. You will be missed. Crushing a lot of those mid/ drops was insanely fun.

In the same realm as taking action on AI’s suggestions for people’s questions and seeing success, I wonder how many people have also been steered away from successful outcomes by blindly listening to its answer and missing out if they had just tried it anyways

Your phone is a pacifier for adults. Discomfort arises, IG reels instantly opened, nervous system numbs. You're self soothing, because it's easier to "check your phone" and escape the pain of your existence than sit through the first 20 minutes of overstimulation withdrawal. You've forgotten the magic that exists in long states of boredom (child like imagination) and all it takes is to experience that is going on a leisurely walk with no destination.

You gotta be putting like 10x shots on net compared to what you’re currently doing. Most people take one shot every few years. To run up the score you should be putting up 2-3 shots a day minimum. At the end of each year you’ve shot thousands of shots while most people did nothing. It’s a numbers game. Your shooting percentage can be horrible and you’ll still lap everyone. Gotta score to win. Gotta shoot to score. Shoot more.

The 2-4 hours you spend scrolling each day (or 730-1460 hours each year) is more than enough time to write a book, build a business, or get in shape. In the moment, it seems like nothing. That's why it's so dangerous. Your time disappears without you being conscious of it.

People who use ozempic and other weight loss drugs are cowards who can’t commit any dedication to accountability for themselves to just eat better and move more rather than looking weird and receiving bad side effects instead of increasing their longevity and health

Some life alpha: If you are determined, ambitious and hardworking, life will give you a lot of opportunities to succeed by allowing you to find spots in which you can press for an advantage. You can think of your day to day as mostly being uneventful as you press yourself up against the wall of opportunity. Months go by and often nothing happens. One fine day, without warning, a crack on the wall will appear and you will be able to reap what you have been sowing for the past couple of months/years. The time from pushing to reaping is indeterminate, random and extremely frustrating. Most people will give up long before it happens - for 2 reasons: 1) their patience is finite, fragile and thin and 2) they are easily distracted by the things that don't actually matter. (hint: MOST things in life don't actually matter ex-post) When you are chasing an outcome, you will find a hundred distractions in your path and conjure a million reasons on why you should give up. -- But if you are earnest about your goals and have the patience of a monk and the drive and tenacity of a warrior - the wall will break. Reality will crack under your will. Everything else is a distraction.

I have a friend who does $500M+/year revenue and another friend (young kid) who cashflows $2M/month on crypto. Before both of them found success, they had started three or four different things at once. A lot of people thought they had a “lack of focus” because they pivoted constantly. But eventually they hit a winner, and then they 10x'd on that one thing. That’s a pattern I've noticed with people who build successful businesses. They try a ton of different things, find creative new ways to acquire customers because they're not locked into one channel, and then go all in once they find what works. But not everyone can operate like them. That’s why I still think being focused when building is good advice providing you have something worth working on long term. But for a certain type of person, the "lack of focus" early on is exactly what helps them find the real opportunity. The trick is knowing which one you are. And then having the discipline to 10x on the winner once you find it.

All it takes in your short life you have is to try enough to find the spark in one thing you pull yourself through and gaining enough momentum to be successful in almost any other thing you wish to do in your life. The trying and failing until you get to a systematic routine of things that just work brings that success. Carrying that similar blueprint structure when you pivot into new seasons of life is what creates “luck” in anything you do. You are a completely different person every time. Brute force and solid structure will always bring you the lessons you need to learn and you will prosper once you understand your problems. Being a forever student to understanding what you don’t know keeps you flowing.
