A high-level delegation of Israeli corporate executives and infrastructure developers has completed an exploratory trade mission to
#Somaliland, marking a concrete deepening of bilateral economic cooperation between the two nations following
#Israel鈥檚 formal recognition of Somaliland.
According to a report published by Israeli journalist Yehoshua Meiri, sources familiar with the matter confirmed that representatives from several prominent Israeli commercial entities, including infrastructure giant Shikun & Binui, visited the capital city of Hargeisa and coastal logistics corridors to evaluate development opportunities across the infrastructure, construction, transportation, and urban development sectors.
During the exploratory visit, the Israeli corporate delegates reportedly met with Somaliland government officials and local business leaders to assess national infrastructure priorities.
Situated along the Gulf of Aden near strategic Red Sea shipping lanes, the Republic of
#Somaliland is actively seeking to attract foreign investment and advance project developments across ports, roads, water, and energy sectors.
While no signed agreements or financial estimates for the prospective ventures have been publicly disclosed, economic analysts view the delegation's site visit as a critical shift from diplomatic alignment to practical involvement in the nation's infrastructure development.
