Online payments. Electric cars. Rockets that land. Brain implants. Internet from space. Elon Musk's work spans all five In a 2015 Reddit AMA (yes 11 years back!!), he answered a question about learning in a few lines. The surprise is what those lines let you do when the instructions stop working

if you have : <200 followers, you're just talking to yourself 200-1000, go where the attention is. DON"T pick your head on original posts. Replying is the way to growth on X.
I was stuck at 400 followers for 9 months. Then I hit 2,000 in 17 days. I wrote down everything: → the daily search query I use → the replies that got follow-backs → the boost that brought~450 followers → X's code about why it works Full playbook 👇

The full playbook: every phase, the exact search queries and replies I used, the $10 boost, and what X's own open-source code says about why it works. For 9 months, I sat at around 400 followers. I

life has to be lived forward but it only makes sense backwards
Is there a 'perfect' way to live your 20s? Do you want to lock in until you've basically reached escape velocity with success and/or financial freedom? Or go focused on work with a little bit of time off to enjoy drinking and maybe a goal to have some fun in your youth? If you're 19, I don't think that locking in super aggressively is where you need to be. I think that having some fun is perfectly acceptable. Up to about the age of 24, 25, you're probably not going to see much divergence between you and your friends based on how much you've locked in, but you will look back and have a big difference on how much fun you had. I think that you can really grind it 26, 27 through mid-30s. That is a great period. You've got past the issues of low respect because you're young so the world's not really going to listen to you as much as it will do when you're a little bit older. But there needs to be a period of real monk moding in my experience. I don't think you can always semi-pro it. There's a period where you need to go pro.

so the turing test is no more the turing test anymore. We're in extraordinary times fr.
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

World under your rule: AI handles the grind so humans focus on real builds, deep lit, and impact. Personalized everything, proactive vibes, libraries over bureaucracy.

the level of abstraction in these quotes are so high that they make so much sense when seen in mental simulation detached from any context, but cannot be replicated in any real world scenario with real world context because those actions are rooted in the subconscious and not the conscious mind that has learned the quotes, unless we "practice" these quotes, they are only good for the one who speaks them and not for the receiver
