More than 6,000 scholars, historians, legal experts, and public figures have signed an open letter rejecting the claim that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza—including Steven Pinker, Niall Ferguson, Benny Morris, Deborah Lipstadt, John Spencer, Irwin Cotler, and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Calling Israel’s war against Hamas “genocide” is a deeply contested characterization that many experts argue distorts the facts and weaponizes the term.
