A poignant reminder of the damage boxing can do to even the very best. This is Donald Curry, a former undisputed welterweight champ and once pound-for-pound No. 1 in a rehab/ care facility. If you haven't donated, then please go here. Tragic! 😢 gofundme.com/f/help-me-keep-…

Is he wrong? We have the Heavyweight division currently, yes but on a grand scale I don't think he's wrong
Oscar De La Hoya says Ryan Garcia’s dominant win over Conor Benn didn’t surprise him because UK boxing is “second class” to the U.S.: “I love the fact that boxing is huge in the UK… but the fighters are not really developing to that championship level. Once you come to the U.S. and fight the real talent, then you see the reality of UK boxing. It’s subpar, it’s second class to U.S. boxing.”

It feels like Ben Whittaker is a star talent, but goes through these moments where he’s so in control he gets bored and starts making mistakes. Gotta remain switched on for 12 moving up to that next level.

Huh?
Conor Wallace has some dark skeletons in his past from 2018. Long story short, he was lured to a hotel by internet 'Predator Catchers' 🫪. It's gets deeper than that. Career barely survived.

Whether people like him or not, he’s been a fit fighting man for years. He’s made millions and just became a dad for the first time, one or two more big name fights and he’s out.

I could make a case for 2 knock downs 💯 but Ben still won. What is funny is how people are talking about Ben making it look easy, but Wallace doing more in 1-2 rounds than Ben could do in 9-10. 🤣 I don’t know how much more evidence people need to see that Ben isn’t that guy.

A count could have defo been given in the 12th but you sound silly talking about stoppage It wasn't a robbery lol Wallace started late, if he had another round or 2 it might have looked different but a stoppage claim is a joke lol
I was watching other sports on my TV Saturday while simultaneously watching the Ben Whittaker vs Conor Wallace fight on my cellphone. And I wasn't paying as much attention as I normally do to the fight as MLB Baseball playoffs are important to me. After watching the replay of Round 12 early this morning, I clearly saw Ben Whittaker legitimately knocked down 3 times in Round 12, & the Referee Kieran McCann wrongly never called any of the knockdowns. Conor Wallace should have won by Round 12 TKO Referee Kieran McCann of the UK is a "Homer" & horrible Referee. McCann shouldn't be allowed to Referee any substantial fights going forward. Period. And the @IBFUSBAboxing should make serious note of that. Ben Whittaker has a serious chin problem. I mistakenly thought while originally watching the fight live it was a stamina problem. It is not a stamina problem. It clearly is a serious chin problem. Conor Wallace unequivocally deserved a victory in that fight. Instead got the proverbial UK Boxing hose job. Try to enjoy your Sunday knowing that the wrong guy got his hand raised.
