ALT Scottish Science Advisory Council appoints Dr Kirsten Jenkins as Member Kirsten is Senior Lecturer in Energy, Environment and Society, based in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies at SPS. The SSAC provides independent scientific advice to the Scottish Government, helping ensure policy is informed by current evidence and expertise. Kirsten researches energy and social justice. Her SSAC work includes NHS Scotland decarbonisation and research across data centres, peatlands, forestry and agriculture.
