Easily the most underrated design engineer
here's my take on this, i think cubic bezier curves are the best way to achieve a smooth result here
the tab and the body stay one single path the whole time. when the gap gets too small for a full corner, it morphs into one S-curve with a shared tangent, so nothing ever looks disconnected
your thread got me nerding out on this haha

V1 of my vibe coded spider man touch design app… and a lot of things didn’t survive🕷️🕸️
Some learnings:
- sometimes you can fix something, sometimes you can’t… and when u can’t + its not a big deal= delete.
- write ur ideas down on pen and paper (or planning doc) first and refer back to it throughout. otherwise you’ll end up drifting away or tweaking it so much that it ends up just a completely different thing (could also be good though idk)
- u still need to know what “good” looks like.

Have always wanted to redo our @EssenceVenture website and finally decided it's time, also decided it's time to move off Squarespace as well.
So used @variantui to find a good starting point on the design side, and built / iterated the whole website using @claudeai and have it deployed the website with custom DNS all working straight in Claude with @insforge
