NOTES 49-53: For a long time, Ive had a goal of reaching 230 average ACS on my role while NOT losing the consistency Ive always focused on. I struggled to find the right way to do it for multiple Acts, but reviewing Trexx and Team Liquid games finally opened my eyes. Ive always played Vandal or Odin on Sova. While I found a lot of success spamming with the Odin, I felt like I was sacrificing too much movement and losing duels because of it. Then I realized theres a lovely middle ground between the two weapons - the Phantom. Thats something I focused on a lot last month, and its already started paying dividends. The biggest mindset change alongside that was simply playing more fearlessly - trusting my mechanics, taking more duels and actively looking for ways to win rounds instead of waiting for opportunities to come to me. Another big focus this month was aim training. I spent around 50 hours grinding fundamental playlists and benchmarks, and I feel really good mechanically in-game right now. Once I finish them and get some nice scores, I might share those here on X too. Today were playing EVC The Surge 13 with the Ramboot boys to stay in the best shape possible during the offseason. NOTES Week #44-48: • Lost my mind (in a good way). After ~100 games instalocking Sova/Fade I realized I was forcing too many situations instead of adapting to compositions. • Biggest adjustment Started filling more in ranked. Stopped autopiloting my agent pool. • Biggest takeaway Reads and reactions were already correct. The issue was applying them. • Pro play Spent a lot of time reviewing RieNs and Trexx. Learning a lot about radar usage and mid-rounding. • Meta observation Sage feels insanely good in the current ranked tempo. • Current focus Grinding benchmarks. First Elysian scores. Working on translating ranked improvements into official matches. Looking back, I'm happy with the individual progress, but there's still a lot to improve. Time to reset, learn and come back better. 🗒️ NOTES Week #41-44🗒️ With these, I can go back to stuff, track myself and also u can maybe give me feedback and adjust my way to do things, to make us both better players. Spent last weeks going back down to the core basics like fighting comms, movement, aiming style and overall dueling psychology. While there is some down time and no tournaments for me right now, right now I like to focus on the non-team stuff, individual stuff. Studying every position where duels happen and analyzing which kind of swing is most likely to happen. At which height and how wide the swing will be. Also noticed while doing VOD review on some of the best shooters in Valorant that they are using crosshair lineups. Some of them looked to me so clear after reviewing that its even funny that I didnt think of them before. Still studying the art of crouching or not crouching but thats never ending story I think. Also back on Kovaaks pushing some benchmark scores to improve my raw aim, I think there is no harm getting your HS% higher if you can keep up the same KD and not miss the super important kills. On the new act I would love to go ATLEAST back TOP 10 with Initiator only and I will full focus on it.
