One week on from Interstellar. The upgrade is finalized, with no issues observed. VeChainThor now sits much closer to the modern EVM environment builders already know: cheaper temporary state, faster memory operations, passkey- and proof-friendly cryptography, and tighter limits for more predictable block times. For builders, that means less work adapting EVM apps and tooling for VeChainThor. For everyone else? No drama. The network keeps running as expected. That’s how protocol work should feel from the outside: planned, tested, then quietly doing its job. The Renaissance continues.
Interstellar is now live. The last few weeks, we broke down what was changing under the hood. Today, those improvements are live: greater EVM compatibility, more modern tooling for builders, and stronger foundations for scale. The protocol gets better when builders have less infrastructure to fight.

The most useful tools are often the ones people don’t have to go looking for. They meet people where they already are, in the flow of what they’re already doing. That’s what @VeWorldAI embeds do for AI agents — and agent Hops is a good example. 👇

If you’re at Blockchain Life, don’t miss Sunny’s session. AI × blockchain gets talked about a lot, and for good reason. But where the two genuinely fit, what problems they can solve together, and where VeChain sees it going next — that’s the conversation we’re most interested in. See you in Dubai.
Will be speaking at Blockchain Life 2026 on December 1-2. The timing couldn't be better, especially with the debut of the Al Future Forum. The conversation around the convergence of Al and Blockchain is moving fast. From a VeChain perspective, it's not just about hype it's about practical utility, data integrity, and real-world implementation. I look forward to diving deep into these topics on stage and catching up with leaders across both industries. See you at Blockchain Life 2026!

This is the kind of build we like seeing on VeChain. Someone takes an everyday problem, turns their own process into a useful agent on @VeWorldAI, then puts it in other people’s hands. In this case, the agent even helped make the video. The demo is also the proof.
Your camera roll is full of memories. Turning them into a finished video is where things tend to fall apart. Meet StorySnap — an agent that guides you from script and voiceover to storyboard, shooting and edit. Fun part? This very video was made with it 🎬

Interstellar is now live. The last few weeks, we broke down what was changing under the hood. Today, those improvements are live: greater EVM compatibility, more modern tooling for builders, and stronger foundations for scale. The protocol gets better when builders have less infrastructure to fight.
Over the last two days we've covered the new EVM opcodes and the cryptographic precompiles landing with VIP-255. Today, part three, the finale: the core protocol improvements sitting underneath both. Part 3: Interstellar Explained - Core Protocol Improvements EIP-2935 - historical block hashes from state: Block hashes for the most recent 8,191 blocks served through a contract, using Ethereum's exact calling convention. Human version: VeChainThor always had the receipts, filed in its own system. This puts them in the drawer Ethereum tools already know how to open. How it changes VeChain: VeChainThor already holds that history in state through the Extension built-in contract, so lookups resolve against Extension and return VeChainThor block IDs rather than Keccak hashes, making this an interface fix rather than new capability. Long term impact: proof systems and light-client designs written for Ethereum port across without a VeChainThor-specific rewrite. EIP-7825 - transaction gas limit cap: A hard ceiling of 16,777,216 gas on any single transaction. Human version: No single transaction gets to hog the whole block any more. Queue etiquette, enforced by the protocol. How it changes VeChain: Bounding the worst case holds 10-second block times steady when demand spikes, and it matters more here than on a single-clause chain, because a multi-clause transaction can otherwise stretch across most of a block on its own. Long term impact: predictable block times are what enterprise integrations get procured on, and a bounded worst case is what allows capacity to rise later without the tail risk rising with it. EIP-7934 - block size limit: A ceiling of 8 MiB on the encoded block. Human version: A limit on how fat a block is allowed to get. Keeps running a node in normal-computer territory rather than data-centre territory. How it changes VeChain: Gas accounting alone does not bound how physically large a block can grow, which leaves room to bloat blocks with cheap data and slow propagation across the network, so a byte-level cap closes that gap. Long term impact: node cost stays flat as usage climbs, and node cost determines how widely validation can be distributed. For VeChain, this is the layer that keeps the last two parts honest. Cheaper opcodes and native cryptography don't count for much if block times start slipping or running a node gets too expensive for anyone but a data centre. These three changes are what keep VeChainThor fast, predictable, and decentralised as more builders and more transactions land on it. For enterprise especially, this is the boring but essential part: predictable block times and stable node costs are the structural guarantees that get a network past procurement in the first place. That's the whole of VIP-255, eleven EIPs across three parts. The upgrade goes live at Block Height 25,902,540 on Wed 16 Sep 2026, 11:15:10 UTC (estimated)! Which of the three parts stood out to you most? Tell us below 👇

VeChain started with a simple question: how do you make blockchain useful in the real world? We started with businesses, products and data. Over time, that expanded to consumers, builders, sustainable actions and broader network participation. A decade later, the question is the same. But the scope is much bigger. Tomorrow, VeChainThor evolves again with Interstellar — bringing greater EVM compatibility, expanding what developers can build and reducing friction from idea to onchain. Make blockchain useful where it matters.

🛰️ UPGRADE: VeChain Interstellar (VIP-255) 🏦 SUPPORT: #Binance 🧱 WHY: Hard fork at block 25,902,540 🕐 WHEN: Wed 16 Sep 2026 ~11:15 UTC ⏸️ BINANCE WINDOW: Deposits/withdrawals pause ~10:15 UTC; trading stays open 🗳️ VOTE: Passed on #VeVote, 10-17 Aug 2026 🧩 SCOPE: 11 #Ethereum EIPs in one fork (Cancun + Prague + Osaka) 🛠️ PHASE: 3rd stage of #VeChain #Renaissance after Galactica and #Hayabusa 👤 HOLDERS: No action. No swap, no new addresses, no supply change 🪙 TOKENS: vechain:native / vethor-token:native supply, issuance, burns, staking rewards unchanged 🖥️ NODES: Must run #Thor v2.5.0 before the block or they leave consensus 📦 EIP-1153: Transient storage - cheap scratchpad wiped after execution ▪️Why it matters: apps can keep temp notes for one transaction instead of writing them to the chain forever. Cheaper safety locks and less junk stored on-chain. 📋 EIP-5656: MCOPY - native memory copy instead of expensive loops ▪️Why it matters: copying data used to be done the long way, gas unit by gas unit. This is a built-in copy-paste, so contracts run faster and cost less. 🧨 EIP-6780: SELFDESTRUCT only works in the same transaction/clause ▪️Why it matters: old contracts could vanish later and surprise users. Now a contract can only delete itself in the same move that created it, which is safer and matches modern Ethereum. 🧮 EIP-7939: CLZ opcode for faster bit math, compression, ZK work ▪️Why it matters: counting empty bits is a basic step in crypto math. Doing it natively speeds up compression and zero-knowledge proofs instead of faking it in slower code. 🔐 EIP-2537: Native BLS12-381 ops used in ZK proofs and aggregated sigs ▪️Why it matters: this is the math behind many privacy proofs and “many signatures, one check.” Native support means those tools can run on VeChain without expensive workarounds. 🪪 EIP-7951: secp256r1 - verify phone/passkey/Secure Enclave signatures on-chain ▪️Why it matters: phones and passkeys already use this curve. The chain can now check a phone’s hardware signature directly, which helps real-world login and wallet UX. 📚 EIP-2935: Contracts can read the last 8,191 block hashes ▪️Why it matters: smart contracts can look back at recent history themselves. Useful for oracles, randomness, bridges, and apps that need to prove “this happened recently.” ⛽ EIP-7825: Hard cap of 16,777,216 gas per transaction ▪️Why it matters: one giant transaction cannot hog a whole block. Keeps the network predictable when activity spikes. 📏 EIP-7934: Encoded block size capped at 8 MiB ▪️Why it matters: blocks cannot balloon in size. Nodes stay lighter and the chain is harder to clog. 🔗 KEEP: Multi-clause txs, fee delegation, dual-token gas model stay intact ▪️Why it matters: VeChain keeps its own strengths. One tx can still do several steps, someone else can pay your gas, and vechain:native / vethor-token:native stay separate. 🌐 AIM: Close the #EVM gap so Solidity/Vyper/#Ethereum tooling ports with less friction ▪️Why it matters: more Ethereum apps and developers can deploy on VeChain with fewer rewrites. That is the real point of Interstellar. $BNB $ETH $BTC $USDT $XRP #Bitcoin #Ripple #Blockchain

After a year of intense daily bipartisan negotiations, this bill is ready. Here is the final text. President Trump voluntarily agreed to new ethics provisions holding every federally elected official, judge, and their spouses to some of the toughest ethics restrictions in U.S. history. This new text includes more than 120 of Democrats' demands. A no vote on Tuesday means opposing real ethics reforms on politicians' personal investments, handing American leadership in digital assets to our foreign competitors, and leaving Americans with zero protections in the digital asset markets. Democrats got what they wanted; now they need to take yes for an answer. Here's the latest: lummis.senate.gov/press-rele…

1/ Most of the AI trust conversation today is about outputs: Is this accurate? Is this authentic? Where did this information come from? But as software starts acting on our behalf, the trust problem changes. It’s no longer only about what software says, but what it does. ↓

5/ This becomes especially important when activity crosses boundaries. Inside one platform, trust can be provided by the platform itself. But software will increasingly interact across applications, organizations and networks that don’t necessarily share the same source of trust. Verifiable infra gives them common ground.

6/ VeChain has spent years building infrastructure around verifiable digital and real-world activity. What changes now is who, or what, initiates that activity. A transaction may originate from a person, a business, or software acting within authority they’ve delegated. Infrastructure needs to account for all three.
