God of War is reportedly replacing Kratos with his late wife Faye in the new “God of War: Laufey” spin-off.
The game is already getting mixed reactions, with some fans unhappy about playing as a character they never asked for. 👀
Set in the Everywhen, where gods from different mythologies battle for control.
Community note
God of War Laufey starring Faye was officially announced by PlayStation in June 2026 as the next mainline entry with gameplay footage, not a new report or spin-off.
